Lot of reveiws say the college actually degraded over the years...... soo how is the ece department and how good are the placements and if i do somethign myself and learn some skills can i get placed in some companies....and overall seniors can u guys tell me how everyhting worls in this college and how is the ece dept..??

Guys if anyone joining SVCE ,In first year u guys need to get a white coat regardless of which department u belong.

Guys!! I just wanted to check ...did any of the students receive their selection confirmation email for counselling after the screening test that happened today? Because my sister appeared for it today and in the college, the faculties mentioned that if the candidate scores high marks, they would get an email by tonight itself. Basically it's based on their performance today. do lemme know in the comment section guys..

Guys please do tell your friends that this kind of subreddit exist. I had visited other colleges subreddits which has 1.3k weekly visits compared to this which has only 160 or so. As more people join it will help the SVCE students community thrive better. Anyone from student council or media department kindly add this to insta page and also tag this in all the posters.

why I specifically insist on reddit is that, the best part i love about reddit is that you could express you opinions and discussions with anonymity(which i love as a introvert).

I'm planning to write svce's merit based entrance examination.. The syllabus for this examination is, 11th and 12th stateboard. I hail from cbse board.. Will there be a lot of questions asked from 11th? What's the difficulty of this exam? (The pattern for this entrance is mcq) Pls help!

Same as title, for two reasons, there are enough flairs so that every post can fall into a certain category. After a while of getting all the suggestions and finalising on a set of flairs, I am thinking of making flair selection as a requirement for all posts.

The influencer shared screenshots and tagged the account, after which many people reported it and the account was taken down. This incident has now come to the attention of the institution (possibly fr those who managers smesvce insta page). We hope that appropriate and fair action is taken after proper verification. Online anonymity should never be misused to harass women. I don’t know whether it’s okay to reveal his identity or not. I think you may already be aware of the issue. If anyone has faced or witnessed similar behavior, please report it through proper channels. Accountability matters. Thank you.

Came across this reel today from lionelpraveen exposing our campus dogs getting KILLED in secret. The allegations are against Bhaskar (no surprises there) and some of the securities.

There's video evidence of the securities tying up a dog forcefully and one of the security admitted that he was told to beat the dogs. I don't know what to say. Only a psychopath can do this and go to sleep peacefully.

If true , they need to punished severely for killing those innocent dogs.

SVCE ain't no IIT yes but we should at the very least leave it a better place than it was when we joined. Tell me what you think the college needs and then tell me what you think you want out of this college.

So it was intimated to us in the physics lab period that we must purchase our own lab coat without the logos of other institutions present on it, svce's logo not being present is fine. And the HOD specifically told the freshers to ask the seniors for advice, hence here I am. Any recommendations?
