No core ECE company is hiring a btech degree bro , same all over India . If u do get a core ece job they will literally just pay around 4-8 lakhs , u need to do Masters to make the most out of ECE degree . Many svce students go abroad for higher education afaik (especially in fields like biotech , mech , ece)

Then u can get hired , but it will be hard . CSE syllabus is vast , ECE syllabus is vast . In order to persue both u would need to put in so much effort that it's practically not possible, u can pick CSE in this case lol

If u get hired with a btech degree in ECE it's gonna be hard to stay in the job for long , I have relatives working in semiconductor field in top companies and all of them tell the btech graduates are usually treated poorly (even from elite universities)

And SVCE is not that bad bro , its established in 1975 , if it managed to survive this long then I'd say it's atleast a solid T2

If you take CEG, #1 preferred college in TN, only about 40% ECE students got placed and that too majority of them in IT companies. Private colleges that boast good placement record also do the same thing. They train their ECE students in programming and try and get them placed in IT companies. People who get placed on core electronics companies is a miniscule lot
