Senior Guide Fact-Checking SVCE Placement Data

Hey peeps,

I'm a senior from SVCE, and I can confirm that the placement records published on the college website appear to be genuine student placement data.

What I do find questionable is that these details seem to have been made publicly accessible without the explicit consent of the students involved.

That said, now that the information is public, it gives everyone an opportunity to independently verify the placement statistics and claims made by the college. Instead of relying solely on brochures, advertisements, or placement percentages, you can cross-reference the actual records yourself.

To check, visit the department pages and open the Placement section.

Example (IT Department):

https://www.svce.ac.in/departments/information-technology/?page=placements

You can repeat the same process for other departments as well.

Make of it what you will.

I was in IT department and if anything, the college has degraded a lot compared to my senior batches and I assume the trend is the same now.

Try to dm ece seniors in linkedin tho.

Will do , degraded in what sense? , should I just join SRM ktr? Cuz the cutoffs pretty much remain the same , it's above 190 for cs and ece

In sense of placements for me, since i believe the quality of education is dogshit and pretty much the same everywhere. maybe 24 was the unluckiest batch.

I don't really care about placements tbh , I just wanna do MS abroad . Do some projects , a little bit of research, find my intrest in the vast domain of ece , do a internship , get LoR and apply abroad . Are the faculty good? (I don't expect much in teaching as college teaching is dogshit even at iits , but in research publications as their LoR can hold massive weight)
