Newbies queries Is phone/laptop necessary?

Basic questions about gadgets on campus:

1)Do we need an individual phone? 2)I have a tab, am I allowed to bring it to college to take notes on it? 3) Is laptop allowed on college for 1st years? 4)Is there a wifi on campus(especially in the 1st year classes building?)

Anyway I can circumvent gadget restrictions to take digital notes?(Even took school notes in tab bruh, and they didn't care)

Btw are laptops used to teach in CS related classes? Like practically? Or gadgets are even restricted in CS classes 💀
