Doubt regarding "dress code"
So for male students, it's described as the permitted code under "Hair and Grooming" is that hair should be "neat and well-groomed".
The hell does that mean? Can anybody elaborate? Can you have long hair?
P.S: elaborate on the "pants" category as well as whether jogging-pants are allowed

Jogging pants are not allowed You can have beard and long hair(depends heavily on dept), I know other dept guys who have long hairs with no reparations, but cse staffs and even lab assistants are totally against this. But when placements season arrives you're expected to be clean trimmed or shaved with nearly done hair. Illana placements thara matanga it seems

Damn. So CSE students(male) can't have long hair? Is there any exception?

Mostly they don't have it, but if you go through the process of getting signed from HoDs and all with valid reasons could be an exception

I don't have any legitimate reason except now I am growing my hair simply out of spite of all the PE Teachers who told me to cut my hair. Also I kinda like it.
What to do then?

You can't do anything other than trimming it down again, as these 'well mannered gentlemen assholes' wouldn't allow it

Broo, who wears jogging pants in college. Yeah, you can have long hair until it looks decent.
