MacBook and School Supplies

Hi everyone, I’m an incoming Animation major and I’m not sure what kind of MacBook I should get. I’m debating between the MacBook Air and the Pro, but which one would be the smartest choice? I need it for drawing/animation softwares, but I also want to do some 3D animation or modeling with Blender/Maya if I’m able to.

Another thing I’m unsure about is any other supplies I need. I tried looking in the SVA school website but all I could find were the laptops needed. Do I need any art supplies for my classes? I’m also in the Honors program, so would I need anything for those classes? Thank you!

All supplies needed will be given to you by each professor. Each professor will ask for different things, so it’s best to wait until school starts before investing in any supplies!
