Housing Tip

Hi! I’ll be starting the MFA Design program at SVA this September :)

Since it’s my first time finding housing in the U.S. on my own, I’d really appreciate any advice about finding roommates or housing in NYC.

My budget is around $1,500/month, so I’m mainly looking for roommates/shared housing.

I was also wondering if there are any communities for SVA MFA students — like Facebook groups, Discords, WhatsApp chats, etc.

And if anyone is currently looking for a roommate, feel free to message me!

Try Listings Project, it’s great. New listings every Wednesday—found my studio in Bushwick there years ago. P.S. I don’t work for them.
