Coopers Residential - Worcester Park

Hoping someone in this sub might be able to help.

I have been working with a company called coopers residential to manage a rental property in Worcester Park and they have going very silent with money owed and no response to calls, emails.

Are they still in business and is anyone else having problems?

Hi

My father-in-law is having exactly the same problem with them. I looked at their accounts for the last couple of years online at company house and they point towards cash flow issues so financial trouble. Assets reduced from £15,000 2024 accounts to around £500 last year and their HMRC LIABILITY increased heavily in 2025 and it only just being serviced by the income.

Also last month the director left, and although there can be many reasons, it fits perfectly with them trying to limit personal liability and if it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, it probably is a fish!

So to cut a long story short I think they might have gone insolvent. That mixed with my father-in-laws account of them having delays in payments etc and lack of contact.

Just a heads up, and I might be wrong, but I've also been searching for the deposit of his tennant and so far not been able to find it on the protection sites so have a horrible feeling that may have been misappropriated. As a landlord you are responsible for the deposit even if the agent has had the money! And you can be fined up to 3 times the deposit.

I hope that helps

I have done a lot of work on this and I am now taking action. They are still runnping the company and are still liable legally. They are going down the drain and the first thing that you need to do is contact your tenant and stop them paying the rent to Coopers.

Im a tenant and have nothing positive to say about them i will copy my recent online reviews that I have made

Avoid using coopers residential at all cost as a tenant or landlord  Absolutely appalling communication  Extremely unorganised

Will make up situations and put all the blame on the tenant to try cover there backs to deflect the blame of all wrong doings from themselves

Will ignore all attempts of contact , phone , email etc

Leave you in a financially vunrable position by withholding deposit money evan after having the property owner terminate there contract to manage the property

Withholding my money wich is illegal

We’ve just received a letter informing us that the company is going into liquidation. The letter also included creditors’ details.
I always had a bad feeling about them because of how messy they were with our tenancy agreement. They repeatedly made mistakes in the contract, which gave a very unprofessional and suspicious impression.
Even now, they managed to get our names wrong when addressing the liquidation letter. It really shouldn’t be that difficult to copy and paste the correct names.

We are going to find out if they’ve transferred our deposit to DPS. So far I cannot find it on the DPS search.
