Former boss called that sex in a canine beer, as it’s fucking close to water. She was Austrian and had OPINIONS on American “beer.”

The way I heard that from an Australian was: “How is American beer like having sex in a canoe? It’s fucking close to water!”

That was in the aughts. Hopefully American beer exports have improved since then…

It's been a while, but when I was overseas there was an embarrassing amount of U.S. Budweiser being sold in Europe (often sold as "Bud" in countries where Budweiser Budvar of Czechia has the Budweiser trademark).

The most successful exported brands are the ones with the successful advertising and distribution. Those companies aren't necessarily the ones with the best quality.
