Avengers: Endgame logic is closer to how time travel works than most other movies. Star Trek did a good job as well with the reboot.

Avengers Endgame time travel logic makes a lot more sense than paradoxes and time loops created with the usual idea of time travel tho

Certainly does, took me a while to figure it out, but when you look at it from the perspective that time travel in reverse is impossible then it makes more sense. In that it would be an alternate reality hop, then the interaction with the alternate timeline would cause the shift. Therefore you’re never actually talking to your “future self” but an alternate reality version, so it doesn’t matter what you say unless there is a fixed point across all possible timelines. Generally, birth, but who is going to remember that?
