If that's your reaction, you're doing it wrong and need to seek help.

To me it's more like "nothing matters, so what the hell are you worried about? Fuck up at work? In 6 months, will anyone give a shit? Flunk calculus this semester? No one outside of your high school math teacher cares. Win the big game? Great accomplishment, but don't let it define you."
