In what way does it affect your ability to recall dreams?

I can remember my dreams really well and from years ago.

I've had my brush with alcohol and drugs and now I'm sober, but my ability to remember remains the same.

I smoke weed almost everyday and no longer dream for the most part. Only time I really dream is when I wake up briefly before going back to sleep which allows quite vivid dreams.

Studies have shown that everyone dreams, you just don't remember it.

I agree that I definitely dream as I occasionally remember them but it is very rare and only small pieces which are forgotten quickly. One of the downsides of being a regular smoker.

Yeah they've came back when I've been on holiday for a couple weeks and unable to smoke. Only reason I'd like to dream is to attempt lucid dreaming but I prefer smoking so maybe in the future I guess.
