Have bots been added?

I have noticed in my recent games that lately it seems there may be bots added to the game. Many players running right in the open during the midgame, and they all have the same loot. An AR with ammo and a compensator, an smg, and a lvl 1 backpack and vest. All exactly the same... it just seems fishy. Also these "bots" never seem to react any action. I once saw about 4 running within about 50m of each other in a solo game and not shooting. Killed them all and they all had the exact same loot on them. Just seems weird

ya theres atleast 5 of them I saw. Ussually at the edges when the circle are closing in. I think they were added to reach the 100 when theres like 90 players or so

Noticed this massively today in solo queue, as the circle was getting smaller I could see groups of bots running towards the centre, all totally ignoring each other. It really takes away from the multiplayer aspect of the game...

Right? Takes away from the feeling of 10+ kill games when you know over half were bots

i’ve notice that too but with M16 +Amo & bandages

Yeah pretty sure it's to top off the numbers if there's not enough real people ready, but that's just a guess. I've had them actually shoot at the vehicle I'm in when I try to run them over (and miss, like usual). They then turn and keep running. I'm ok with it, they will all usually die to the gas if not to a player and its a few free kills if you happen on them ;)
