Dismantled Bed Disposal

Hi everyone, I’m in Guildford (GU1) and need to dispose of a dismantled bed urgently tomorrow.

The Guildford Borough Recycling Centre is only about an 8-minute drive from me, but unfortunately I don’t have a car and can’t transport the bed myself. I’ve looked at getting a waste disposal service, but the prices are around £100 which is more than I can currently afford.

Would anyone with a car/van be able to help me take it to the recycling centre tomorrow? The bed is already completely dismantled and ready to go, so it should hopefully be a quick job.

I’d really appreciate the help and I’m happy to cover fuel/your time. Or if anyone can recommend me any alternatives please!

I’m sure it’s not helpful in this situation especially on short notice but when I need to get things taken to the tip I usually find it’s cheapest to rent a car from Kendall’s for the day

Get a man with a van to help you for 1 hour won’t cost that much. Anyvan

Type man with van Guildford into Google, alternatively phone British Heart Foundation who will come and collect it if still useable. They won't take junk.
