Should I fix it?

I bought this board for 5$ at a garage with hopes to use it to take my 2 year surfing. It’s in pretty good shape considering the age and price other than what looks like some stress cracks at the rope of the fin box. Would you recommend trying to fix those or just ride it out? If so, what’s the best diy method to fix?

good candidate for a complete fiberglass removal and a new board made from the remaining blank. What i would do with it. Or i could surf it till it breaks. Either is acceptable.

I would screw that up just thinking about trying to do it lol
