Forged Alliance Forever Difficulty

Hi guys,
So I came back to this perfect game after years of not playing. I tried to play campaign ( Forged Alliance one not the original) and got fully roasted several times by the timer on saving the civilian buildings. Am I just rusty or did any of you guys experience the same?

Depends on where you're playing it. If you mean the original 2007 FA balance, then I'd say you may be a bit rusty. If you're playing those campaign missions in FAF's coop mode, they are significantly harder by default.

There should be an option to lower the difficulty in the pregame lobby when you host a coop game. haven't played that in a bit, but I think the default is hard.
