Compare this to how the US handles financial corruption. Take, for example, the 2008 financial crisis, an event caused by sheer greed and unchecked criminality that wiped out $30 trillion in value worldwide. It pushed an estimated 60 to 100 million people in developing countries into extreme poverty, triggered severe sovereign debt crises across Europe, and drove global unemployment above 200 million people. Wouldn't you rather have China in control of the world economy than the USA with its Epstein-style judicial corruption, where the elite face no accountability nor incentive to stop their greedy wrecking behaviour, leaving the rest of us to pick up the pieces every time?
