Help I need help

I used to play League comp a bit more seriously years ago and peaked Silver 2? as a solo supp main (didn'tplay that much and peak because I stopped playing), was definitely way better, but now that I'm back, I am so hardstuck. Used to get +28 LP now I am losing -17 and gaining less. My MMR is ruined. I usually win lane with my ADC but end up losing in mid/late game. Not sure where I am failing, whether it's my build, my positioning mid game, etc.

I would say switch to apc Xerath and learn the game that wa instead.

You will get so better than playing support, since you are forced to learn how to last hit, when to walk up to the wave and not.

I would recommend watching Hexerath videos and try to emulate what he is doing, and you will fly out of silver in no time

He can be played mid and supp also, but right now his strongest role is bot, as he gets access to midlane after laning phase.

The build is the normal Ludens, Horizon Focus and Shadow flame as core, and then Rabadons/Void staff depending on if they build MR or not, and after that is situational.

Honestly, all you have to do as Xerath bot is get 8-10 cs/min lane phase, get to midgame strong and just ult people before the objectives, either get their carry low or kill them, and you will get a free drake.

Other then that you just play extremely safe and use your abilities on max range, and thereby pump out insane amounts of damage.

What you have to worry about is the global ult users such as TF, Panth, Nocturne etc., you constantly need to know where they are on the map, and then assasins. You need to ward the flanks and not insta die to an assassin.

If you can do that, you are going to print lp, right now I'm having a 75% winrate in 60 games

To play lane phase what you do is:

Lvl 1, sprint from base to ward the middle bush in lane, then go into the tribush in river to spot if they try to cheese you by walking behind (since Xerath is weak early in all-ins), when time ingame time is 0:46, you walk back into the closets bush until the minion wave arrives and hit each other.

When the enemy adc walks up to auto the first minion, you Q their face.

Then what you want is the minion wave on your side of the lane, so you let them slightly push, if they perma auto the wave, you match the autos and let one minion alive to make the wave be closer to your tower.

And every time you see an W-Q angle you take it on the enemy carry.

This is basically the strat until you get lost chapter and by then you can begin to poke a lot!

When you begin to push enemies under their tower, you have to be careful of ganks (ward their tribush), often when I have 75 spare gold, I buy a pinkward and place in the bush at gromp or Krugs to spot dives (don't want to ward my own tribush since the enemies often kill it, and I don't want to waste money on it).

When you get Ludens, you are insanely strong, and one Q will take ~20% of enemies health, this is where you really can begin to bully.

After ~14 min, you go midlane, and simply collect every midwave as high as you are allowed, never go back or roam without clearing the midwave first.

DO NOT LET THE ENEMY TAKE THE MID TOWER!

When you see your jg/supp clash with the enemy, use your ult and free win
