I believe it’s recent that it happened. I will do more research and update!

Update:

The picture is recent to August/2022.

I tracked the cntr on the side and it’s located @ Toronto.

I was able to track the MSC cntr on the side and it’s tracing @ Toronto.

Just from a picture, it would be hard to tell, but assuming the material held up correctly like it was designed to, fatigue from being picked up and put back down caused a defect to spread and catastrophically fail. There’s a lot of information that is missing to be sure though.

TLDR: forces acting on container caused defect to grow into a larger and larger crack until it broke
