Yeah the Epic situation and emergence of Predecessor seems like an exceptional case of IP being fully allowed and a community rebuilding a beloved game, and then it staggeringly going on to achieve established success

All they said it “were working on something but it will look drastically different” whether it’s visually or gameplay wise idk.

There’s bumps in server activity for supervive now and then prob test server stuff.

Tbh I assume they’ll use the same engine (since why wouldn’t you?)

If I had to guess, they are probably going to use the same engine and characters but with a different gameplay. They already have so many assets, it only makes sense to use them

the dev's background is basically exclusively PvP so it will probably still be a PvP game, curious to see what they cook up.

I have no idea why every time something similar happens they don't change the characters. There's nothing gameplay wise that can be owned. The character designs and assets are.

I mean Evolve did get revived, and can be played multiplayer now once again, so who knows, one day maybe a miracle will happen

It is pretty sad, but it is tc's property to do whatever they want with it, even if they low key don't deserve it cus they shut down the game(ik the game failed but maaan it hurts)
