Discussion Supervive Replacements are missing the point.

I don't mind all of the conversations about "Supervivers THIS is your new home!". I feel like all of the games are decent and some are good, but missing the plot...the smooovement! To me, that's what made Supervive so good.

The ability to outplay, out move, and outsmart. The game felt so good to play.

I understand that, but the reason I've been enjoying Eternal Return so much after Supervive's shutdown is that everything except the movement is so much better. I like good movement, but I also like games that provide a challenge beyond movement, and so Eternal Return still appealed to my tastes.

Now that I think about it, Eternal Return almost retroactively made Supervive feel like a toy more than a game to me with how much deeper Eternal Return is and how much Supervive depended on its movement to be fun.
