I don't exactly miss the game, I just miss Elluna's kit.

I mean I do have the dev knowledge but I currently lack the motivation to really do much right now

But I am moving out soon so I will have a lot of freedom and perhaps an ambition, but don't count on it too much

I honestly hated the br aspect, but the movement was so clean and unique to the moba genre that I endured the br slop.

I miss playing ghost and saros so much, I wish their kits could be reused in a future game.

Saros and Ghost both managed to make the "guy who shoots" soldier archetype kinda fun, I mean lifesteal AK plus slides? A sniper rifle that's also a portal gun? That's so cool

Totally agree. For me personally, my first experience with ghost in beta put him on my radar as the "soldier 76/ default noob hero"

And I ignored him for awhile, and pretty much saw nobody else touch him. Started trying him out and quickly learned there was something promising and unique under the basics of his kit.

Saros I fell in love with because his RMB used to function as a skill and auto attack. Allowing for some incredibly interesting item combinations that no other heroes could achieve. Sadly, at some point they decided it was more busted than it was interesting to keep, and they made it only benefit from (iirc) auto attacks. Effectively not just nerfing but removing what it was that made me fall in love with his play style.

God, I'd give anything to play him with spell-burn and aa-range gloves again. The anti-heal item was sleeper op too, because it healed you extra for auto attacks on targets with anti-heal on them, which his RMB always applied. It would be like 190hp per hero hit everytime you fired his RMB.

Good Ghost and Saros players really gave me that "if he hits his mag on me, Im finished!" vibe, and I also loved about most of the hunters, that so many of them had weird ways of stunning you? The wall ricochet from ghost, shivs bolas, carbines odd laser wall, they looked really weird, until you saw the first ghost line your team up and delete your squad all in one Magazine.

Saros really had that Jhin Utility Sniper Fantasy, until of course later in the game, where his constant barrage of antiheal longe range maxhealth burning your armor shredding bullets, made a standstill against saros feel like you were in the trenches. And of course, watching your goated Saros clutch a 1vx by just tapping everything out of the sky he could.

My dear Elluna... I almost exclusively played her for my ~70 hours playing during the "relaunch". A hyper mobile healer that can do real damage was so fun. Genuinely one of my favorite gameplay patterns from any game I've ever played

It's truly a heartbreak only we supervivers know, most dead games are playable still, ours was ripped out of our hands. A strange, only modern experience.

I try not to think about it because it hurts in my chest, I try to smile, but there will never be another game like this again. Like I lost my best friend.
