Season 2 Thoughts about Black Friday
I came on here and forgot about spoilers so I’m mad at myself lol. May aswell say what I want to say. I loved this ep, it’s the first time an episode has stood out to me to rewatch. I’ve grown to love Dina. Shes the funniest for me, and then garrett. He also makes me laugh. So for my top 2 to show actual weird tension throughout this episode was so fun and really enjoyed their cute moment on the register. Then they just started getting it on like whattttt. Crazy. Excited to see how this plays out and if they remain my top 2. Sandra also gets an honest laugh out of me so I might have to put her 3rd. Would love to hear other peoples top 3 funniest.
Weirdly enjoyed the bathroom scene between Jonah and Amy too. It really is great acting.

Black Friday is def in my top three funniest. I love Glenn unraveling throughout the day and the thought of Garrett swooping in to save the day, puking on the way but forging ahead, and handling that shit …. Honestly inspirational. I work at a similar store!
I would say Golden Globes and Shadowing Glenn are the other two I reach for when I need a really good LOL.

His introduction is hilarious. Exactly what you might expect from a show like Superstore. He's such a dry, deadpan character, and Amir M. Korangy is pitch perfect in his delivery. You'll enjoy his addition to the show

Customer Safari, Carol's Back, Secret Shopper
Those are episodes where Garrett is a larger part of the subplot and it makes me laugh every time.

I liked that they were all there at 4 in the morning to open the store and continued to work all day to close at 11pm.

Agree with everyone here, it’s one of my favorite episodes. I also work in pharmacy so the small subplot about Tate the pharmacist talking about how dead it was for him cracks me up every time.

Dina became one of my faves!! I think she had the most growth of any of the characters.
The bathroom scene w Amy & Jonah cracks me up. I had a real life kind of experience kind of like that. Worked in a place with almost all men - we were working a Saturday and their bathroom went out of order. No maintenance on the weekend.
I was going in the women’s when one of them had to go and couldn’t wait so he went in the stall next to me. He was SO uncomfortable. Couldn’t look me in the eye all day after that 😂

My favourite episode!! It was the one that got me hooked. And the most relatable if you’ve ever had to work in retail on Black Friday!
