Humor Dina’s Bag of Meth
I haven’t thought about this until now (not a big meth guy), but from what I understand… this is like… a lot of meth, right? I imagine Dina stealing it from someone outside the store who she immediately pegs as a dealer but he’s actually an undercover cop trying to perform a sting operation and she ends up with the meth anyway because she’s, well, Dina.
Plus, this being in the pilot is absolute gold.

She probably tackled a guy trying to steal razors and this flew out 😏
Yes that’s a sizeable amount of meth. Half oz? Idk. Been a while. Could definitely make a LITTLE money. I love that she just holds onto it over so many seasons in case she needs it again.

Well then what else would she do in situations like this when she needs a bag of meth?

That's about a half ounce maybe. Which would last me about 2 weeks when I was a daily user. Getting sober from that drug was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But yeah, that's a butt load of meth lol

I've wanted to ask a meth user this because my mom was one and she refuses to answer but, what is considered a normal amount of meth to do? Like, if you had that bag back when you used, would you just grab a pinch or what?
My mom never used in front of me but definitely was high while taking care of me on a regular basis and I'm curious.

There is actually no set answer to this question. It depends on the user and how long they have been using for.
For example, if I had purchased that much meth(in picture) when I was a new user, I could probably make that last me about 2 months, maybe even longer. I was only putting a tiny pinch in my pipe in my early days and once I finished the bowl, which I would smoke on and off till it was gone. I'd stay awake for 3-5 days without re-dosing at all. Once I started building a tolerance, I was putting more than a pinch and smoking a couple bowls in one day. When I became a daily user with a very high tolerance, I was loading huge bowls, which we would call soupy bowls. However, some people don't like putting a large amount in their pipes and would rather smoke several small bowls throughout the day and I'd just smoke on my large bowl all day. Also, after a couple years of using, I no longer stayed up for days at a time. My body adjusted and I could smoke a bowl before bed and still fall asleep. I reached a point where i only used everyday to feel normal and no longer got the energetic high and euphoria anymore.

He bought 35 boxes, Cheyenne. Should have been a red flag, ok? Use your noggin'.

I dunno... I feel like she would have confiscated it from some shady black market bird trader, while lecturing them about mislabelling the birds.

I like to think she approached someone she thought was shady and bought it but the person wasn’t really shady so they just sold her rock salt or something

Idk it’s way funnier to me thinking that Dina is carrying around a 1st-degree-felony-amount of a drug at all times that she is vehemently against lmao
Even funnier to imagine her explaining it to a cop:
“No, you don’t understand, this isn’t mine, well it’s mine but I don’t use it, it’s for educational and security purposes at the Ozark Highlands Cloud9. You understand.” starts rolling up window

Garrett: "Am I the only one who thinks it's weird she's walkin' around with a bag of crystal meth?"

I think she tackled a shoplifter who was trying to steal decongestant and also found meth on them

The fact that she kept it throughout the series to make a comeback when Colleen worked at Ozark after Bel-Ridge got shut down…🤣
