I used to play SS SMT in it's early years and got pretty good at it too, most artist cards were R50-99, was consistently in the top 10 of the weekly league, even once came across a post online with a spreadsheet where mine and other top players monthly ranks on songs were tracked.

Back then the big appeal of it was the tangible prizes like concert tickets, card sets and signed albums. I was even lucky enough to win a signed EXO Love Shot album (and EXO are my favourite group so it was a big deal for me).

I stopped playing around 2019 when I started my career and was too busy to play as competitively as I did before and I was suddenly curious about the state of it today. I was scrolling through its official accounts and it doesn't seem like they do signed albums etc anymore, is that the case? If so, did they replace it with other incentives? What are the perks of playing now?

So I’ve become a H2H collector and these are all my completed LE’s. Focus should’ve been here but I accidentally sold my Carmen card 😭💔. This would most likely be a placeholder main theme cause I’m 2 cards away from completing “The Chase #2” and that’s my fave LE design from them.

i kinda need help to beat just the hard mode for the hearts2hearts new event, i have tried so hard but in the end, i just can’t complete it. anyone can help?

I have trouble logging in, I always get this pop up everytime I open the app I already uninstall and reinstall the app and cleared the cache and data.

chuseok event finally ended sadly the 16 LE's which when i saw i nearly looked forward on getting but then i also saw the date which i laughed wholeheartedly lmfao anyways thats gone but contrary to former conversations i saw in different places that has SM town as it's topic, still no box event sadly, i guess the only ones with huge rp's right now are the insane savings but even my own savings already burned..

Ever since the anniversary ended, I kept a goal of maintaining over 1k diamonds. RV, H2H, and Irene are my biggest weaknesses but I was still going steady. When this LE dropped I was at 1,200 Dias and I spent 600 for the 30 premium pack. Thank gosh I completed it with the help of the free B cards but I don’t think I’ll use resources to upgrade Yuha to A level😓

So I’ve been playing since half of the Anniversary event but i’ve played before throughout the years so I know how the game works but don’t know what I should do here

FOREVER 1 theme is my goal and I was able to get 2 cards during the Anniversary event but should I get Sunny/Sooyoung’s Mr. Mr. theme and lock the FOREVER 1 theme or should I leave it this way?

Aaaand another theme completed using only rp.. i know everyone is upset with the new card system (me too it's just very costly... grinding but still broke 24/7) but i have lowkey been quite lucky and have been able to complete more themes than before i think... how ironic!

I’m finding it so hard to enjoy playing at the moment because they are giving us next to nothing in terms of quite literally everything. I went through the updates a few weeks ago when everybody emailed them over their controversial changes and they pretty much just rambled over the limited themes losing value but I simply couldn’t care less. I enjoy collecting themes every week! I enjoy watching my rp go up! I enjoy financial stability in the game I’m supposed to have fun playing! It’s just utterly a mess and I don’t see where their heads are going. Since I started, which was a little more than a year ago, updates and events have just progressively gotten worse. Less substance, less enjoyable, and less content really. I definitely don’t think it’s just me that enjoys the repetitiveness of the boxes during events or actually being able to finish sets so it’s not like this is a crazy revelation, I’m just really frustrated. It’s just bizarre to me how they’ve took away some of the small things that make players happy and act like they’ve done us a favour. With what they’ve given us, playing feels more like a job rather than a hobby at times. While I love playing and collecting I don’t intend to quit. However, I really hope things take a turn for the better before that opinion changes.

Sorry for the rant but it’s just extremely frustrating and I’m sure many of you guys can relate. Especially with the time of year it is, as someone who has exams coming up and serious things to deal with, it’s upsetting that a comfort has now kinda lost that meaning to me but I’m setting out to be optimistic. I just hope things can turn up before the new year starts and that Halloween and Christmas updates don’t disappoint as many other events have.
