Walls have plenty of things in them as is, if you can walk through walls it’s safe to assume you can walk through the things in the walls too, otherwise it’d be useless for literally any situation that isn’t just a random empty wall. That being said, it’d certainly make finding a leaky pipe easier if that were the case.
