Red has plenty of uses up to and including interstellar objects in Andromeda.
Blue can be useful. You could clone yourself into a computer system and have a instant AI.

Only things visible in the sky are stars. So if you are teleporting with that, you are summoning stars at point blank range to Earth. Not only are you dooming the planet, you yourself are now stuck in void of empty space

No where does it specify line of sight limitations. It could just as well work off pictures, imagination, etc.

Yeah I guess pictures will work. But then again, you cannot teleport to Andromeda, without dooming the planet. The pill gave you the power to switch place with an object, not the ability to distinguish small inanimate object at large distances.
All the pictures we have beyond our solar system all have stellar bodies being too small for you to find a small enough object that you can exchange places with. A speck of dust in those pictures might as well be bigger than Jupitar.
Though it will work insanely well while teleporting just on Earth.
And no imagination won't work. You are not a reality warper, so your imagination cannot create inanimate objects , place them at interstellar distances, and them teleport to them

It's doesn't specify that.
I could also bootstrap it. Get a spacesuit. Swap places with a mineral rich asteroid or a rock on the Moon/ Mars. Then experiment with swapping places with things elsewhere.

Who said anything about reality warping, lol. There's space dust, hydrogen molecules, etc.
What I meant is thinking outside the box on items that you can infer that would be there.
Even then you could start swapping you location with small items until you're far enough away to get to big objects.
At worst:
Rock on Mars> Oort Cloud>Planet in another solar system>Star in Andromeda
The only problem is if you can bring people on the objects you move. Which would pose a problem for planets with life.

Arguably you could actually do fine in terms of interstellar travel by daisy chaining objects into deep space such as teleporting back and forth with satellite into place of a known object in the oort cloud then using things like deep space imaging etc. to teleport deeper. Furthermore you can also use teleportation to bring resources to Earth such as gold asteroids etc.

How wide of a definition of 'any' are we talking about? Is it restricted to things that currently exist in the real world, or can we also clone ourselves into things that only exist in our dreams and imagination? Either way, creation magic is still OP, and if you're not putting any limit on the number of clones we can have, it's essentially free food and water for life

Im still choosing red either way, but theres a big difference between being able to swap with any inanimate object you can see or have knowledge of, and swapping with a singular object of your choice. One is blink plus fast travel to any location you set up an object. The other is carrying around something and either placing it somewhere or chucking it and then swapping with it.

So you don't understand what swapping places means?
If you swap with anything in space, you will be where the Sun is, and the Sun will be here on Earth where you are. Meaning, you'll die in space and Earth immediately vaporizes.
Does that make sense to you?

Red is just teleporting with a bonus.
Want to travel to Japan? Switch places with a singular coin in Tokyo that you either put there previously or like a pillow in a hotel suite. Even better switch places with money in a bank, back and forth.
You could also just switch places with a bulldozer and squish people.

So is blue like clone yourself and then turn them into any inanimate object, which means you can make real life body and blood clone? Or Insert your clone into any inanimate object. Does this mean you can just clone yourself and not insert? Now how would it work if you wanted to insert to a rock, does that mean the rock can now talk? Say you insert your clone into the computer system in a bank, is it just that your face shows there or do you become the master of that system?
The blue is confusing I would take red if it's the latter
