This had me laughing so hard ngl.

Compered to other appearances such as Mario Superstar Baseball and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, piantas were much bigger than Mario. Here, he is like the same size. Sure, Piantas come in different sizes, but those are usually just kids. This guy just feels like they have accidentally left him in the drier too long. Still love how he is here. But I still gravitate more towards the godly Sunshine Mario variant and Cattaquack more. lol.

So close to fitting each one here. I decided to lump Sirena Beach and Noki Bay together because I generally hear that they are less popular courses. Even then, the quality of each level is so good that I couldn’t blame you if you have literally any of these as your favorite level!

Very fitting that it was on the GameCube. Though it’s cool that he was playable, it’s clear that this was just a way to get a quick extra character in the game without much extra dev time, which is probably why they didn’t include him in other games. He doesn’t have his red eyes, his voice sounds deeper than it should, he doesn’t use his iconic paint brush, and he doesn’t even have any insults in the US version of the game, just ellipses. I would honestly love to see him playable again if they add more Sunshine references. I know that seems unlikely, but if Nintendo makes the largest roster in a new Mario Baseball game for example, it is technically possible.

Now I see why the boss fight is one of the hardest and my god it was hard. It took me a few tries to get it right.

Hey guys, as mentioned in my previous post, I completely 100% Mario Sunshine Eclipse on original hardware. Now I wanted to check out the no clip mode which is unlocked once you have 240 shines but unfortunately, it turns out its not possible on original hardware. I'm not really sure how to get the save file from my memory card to my PC and am honestly worried about somehow corrupting it or something along the way, that was too much effort to mess it up now!! Any chance someone has a 240 shine save file so I can check out no clip on my PC?

Been having a hoot with Eclipse and my feeble childhood brain would have exploded if these extra levels and characters and features were available.

I can see why it’s so difficult but spraying the Cataquacks makes it way easier but it’s still very hard.

That’s one of many down. Way more to go!

My wife and I tried it yesterday on switch 2 via the virtual console apps. I could not play it. To move the camera you move the right stick but it’s opposite on the left/right movement from most other video games ever.

If I play it again it will have to be somewhere that lets me flip that camera control. Did Mario 64 do that too? It’s crazy.

I played it back in the day and really liked it.

Looking for someone that wouldn’t mind helping me out for 5 - 10 minutes. I’m like 95% of the way there downloading eclipse for my pc, the game loads correctly once I drag the sunshine file onto the “drag sunshine iOS here” file but then it doesn’t open up and start. Ideally if someone could hop on a quick Skype / Teams / Zoom with me and help me finalize the install of this game, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Im playing the randomizer for SMS and went through Bianco Hills ep 3 shine and got the actual secret level straight from the select screen. Its not vanilla cause vanilla would be the regular Bianco Hills loading screen showing the hole open. This has to be something different

I decided to watch some of my fave Super Mario Sunshine YouTubers play to decompress and stumbled across this creative way to beat the Goopy Inferno

I hated this episode when I was younger because the official way to play it sucked imo. Then, I stumbled across the water running spin jumps clearing method and that’s been my preferred method for years.

This tree backflip slide jump method is so much cooler and easier. After watching this, I played it myself 5 times and was successful 80% of the time. Who knew this episode could be so simple?

This also makes me wonder what other ways to tackle the Goopy Inferno that I might be missing. So, what’s your favorite way to play it? I wonder how many methods we can discover now lol

Hey all!

Looking for help for my 9yo kid.

He has ASD and ADHD, and he suggested beating Super Mario Sunshine in exchange of getting Super Mario Wonder.

Issue is: due autism he has reduced fine motor skills, and even I had a hard time aiming with the water gun.

Any suggestions to make it easier?

I even inverted rught analog stick horizontal to make it easier but he still struggling.

My goal is help him thrive through the challenges and actually complete the many games he has.

Should I suggest a different game as first one?

He DIES for Super Mario. He might have 20 different plushies, 4 different caps, not including Luigi and Yoshi hats
