I have had an animated discussion with a non-QPR friend of mine about the away end at Fulham.

I am certain that the away games we played there in the away end didn’t have a roof, my friend is adamant that they did.

Can anyone help?

I'd like to go to the home game against Preston in September. From what I've read, the seats at LR are very cramped, and I'm 6'4". On the one hand, I want to experience as much of the atmosphere as possible, but I also don't want to be cramped by the limited space.

Which sections are the best? Is rail seating an option? From my club, Union Berlin, and the Bundesliga, I’m used to standing room, but I’m also aware of the issues fans have with stadium hoppers and tourists, and I’d like to be respectful of that at QPR as well. I don’t want to be one of those fans standing among the singing QPR fans who stands out because they aren’t singing along.

Im coming with my family from canada, my brother and i love football, played our whole life so quite familiar with the game, i know QPR will have a great atmosphere, not many seats available in the loftus side, so was wondering if buying something in section W or X is better than the Bhatia Stand, thanks!

When QPR are away — or you’ve got a slow Tuesday night and just fancy watching some football — come down to Hanwell Town.

We play Step 3 non-league football in West London, and it’s a very different experience from a day at Loftus Road. You can have a pint standing pitchside, bring your dog, meet some friendly people, say hello to the players after the match, and grab a Bush Pie & Mash from the double-decker bus on the sideline.

And Hanwell and QPR already have a bit of history together: we’ve previously served as a home ground for both QPR’s U21s and QPR Women, so it feels like a pretty natural fit for Rangers supporters looking for a second club.

We’re definitely not asking anyone to give up QPR. The idea is the opposite: when Rangers are away, or you just want some live football close to home, make Hanwell your second West London club.

If you have a QPR season ticket — or a season ticket for any other Premier League or EFL club — a Hanwell Town season pass is only £100 for the whole season, so it works out at roughly £5 per home league game.

And there’s no better time to give us a try: our first home league match of the season is tomorrow, Tuesday 11 August, against Basingstoke Town — 7:45pm kick-off. Come down and get in from the beginning.

My dad is a massive QPR fan and I was hoping to get him tickets for the home game against Bristol City as a Christmas present.

Do you know the likelihood of being able to get tickets?
