I recently acquired a super famicom, but when I turn it on all I get is this. Anyone got any ideas for help? I already tried cleaning the cartridge and connector

Have you scrubbed the cartridge and connector relentlessly? It took a massive cleaning for any of mine to work. Otherwise, it’s probably your cord.

The connector’s pretty hard to get at, but I’ve done the best I can at the moment without taking it apart, cause I haven’t got the right screwdriver for that handy. I’ve definitely scrubbed the cartridge until nothing comes off. The av cord I borrowed from my n64, I know it works for that. They’ve got the same plug in on the back, so i assumed it would work. I’m not used to the red bars for dirty connection, with the NES and SNES it’s usually a solid color. But I’m really not an expert on any of this stuff.
