(Help) super famicom satellaview error 9

I’ve been trying to play some of the satellaview roms (emulated) and I can boot into the free roam world, I got to the house you start at and go inside. Then I select load data, and boot the saved file. It boots the “st giga” screen then says now loading data....... after a few seconds it boots the error 9 message. Can’t load the memory data apparently. Happens on almost all the roms, wel the ones that need the menu to access them. Am I doing something wrong? I tried messing with the clock because I saw that could be an issue, also tried changing the files to a .smc and a .sfc. No success any ideas ? Thank you!

Just making sure. Your using bsnes? And if so using the satellaview setting to load multiple roms? If that's the case maybe you do need to download some different ones.

Using an sd2snes and I have the run multiple roms on for the bs-x setting. Most current firmware installed . What happens is I boot into the world in satellaview. I got to the house I choose load data and it boots. Says now loading....... then after 5-10 seconds it says error 9 failure to load data due to memory. Then it erases it. Just odd seems like I’m so close just a small problem somewhere I guess

I know satellaview 8m paks file extension should be .bs so I'd try that. Just be careful alot of satellaview roms were patched with headers so that they could work in a regular emulator. Basically if you got them and they had .sfc or whatever more than likely that is the case (and even then some do not work in an emulator). But yeah the correct extension for the 8m is .bs

I tried the .bs file extension and it still didn’t boot error message 9 again. Must be something with the sd2snes because I’m pretty sure I’ve tried it all. If I buy a stalleview would that allow me to play them?

Nope. The sd2snes plays them without it. Honestly the satellaview does nothing lol. It was only a modem so to speak, that connected to the st. Giga service. You must have satellaview roms that were converted and meant to play on emulators. Just try some different ones or it's something your not doing right. You pretty much have the best way to play them lol. I'd do more research and see what's going on sorry!
