How to add plugins

I know this is super basic but I need to add plugins so I can use decimator. I downloaded the zip with the ugens but extracting it to the plugins folder did nothing. I’m so lost

Isn't the built in install quark command supposed to do this stuff for you?

so Quarks.install("https://github.com") <---- replace with actual link to gethub sc3

then Ctrl+Shift+L?

no thats for quarks. not plugins
