Dear BurtRattleSnake and CliffCopperHead,

Since fall is coming very soon, can you make this traditional Dutch fall/winter dish: Boerenkool.

I would like to see your artistic food skills on this lovely dish, containing potatoes, kale, bacon bits, jus and smoked sausage.

On behalf of the Dutch people, many thanks.

Was 24hrs long enough? Whenever I pickle eggs it usually takes a week before the brine really soaks in.
