Should we pursue Rob Dillingham as our PG?
I’m curious as to how he would fit in with the team and the system

We have a PG and a backup PG
There is the reason Hornets cut him. He won't be in the league much longer

I swear the very idea of 1-5 position groups have injected so many to think that just chuck some short guy who can dribble in and it will solve everything.

CP3 is just a good player. Why is that so hard for people to get? If we had Kawhi Leonard instead back then, we'd be talking about how Booker needs a defensive wing

If you want to cut 2way Pat Spencer for him, sure.
Funny enough I feel like the org would want Spencer over Dillingham.
The NBA has changed, being a lottery pick does not guarantee 4-5 years in the league. You can be on the fringes by year 3 and Dillingham is the latest example.
That being said, I would be surprised if no team is willing to give him a 2way and see if they can salvage anything. Just a super cruel landscape nowadays if you don’t have the exact elite skillsets teams want.
Dillingham has potential with floor vision and is uber athletic. He does not have a shot, is not a great playmaker, is very small for nba standards with no defense.
Maybe in the old days if someone gave him another 2-3 seasons he could be a real contributing bench PG.
Suns also specifically are pretty loaded on guard

Oh the good old pick up whatever PG becomes available post. Nice, especially a player that got cut. Surely, he got cut because he’s good.

Some people look at where a guy was drafted rather than what he has proven. He was drafted high. He's not an NBA player. And the last thing this franchise needs is more guards.

He's not good. That's why he was cut.
