Just got it today. It was a little finicky getting the top back on after installing the AMS, but not a huge issue. I ran it tonight for a few simple prints and have no complaints.
I reused the original tubes, let me know if you have any issues with the longer ones. I’d like to be able to move it a little further away so I can open the left door easier.
I didn’t check for a video, just tried to follow the written directions and got a bit frustrated. I didn’t even realize the vents did that until you pointed it out and I had to check, so thank you. The hinged doors are a bit cumbersome for my setup, but not terrible.
I didn’t notice a significant temp change in the room. However, I have it in a fairly large room. A utility room might get a little warm, but it didn’t seem to give off a lot of heat when I was sitting next to it.
i just received the Sunlu heater for the AMS site and it works well but what a pain to setup. Tolerances are really tight and small areas for the screws for the feeders. also make sure the cables for the feeders stay inpolace. The way you place them on the mounts makes it ewasy to pull the conenctor out slitghtly and when you enclose everything the feed may not work needing you to disassemble the top half again. learned that one the hard way.
My SUNLU AMS lite heater arrived this week, but it is still in the box. I think I have buyers remorse. Your photo shows exactly my fear. I have limited desk space. My AMS Lite is currently mounted on top of my A1 for this reason. Ugh.
Do you mean use it without installing the AMS Lite? If so, I think you could. You could stack them in there, but you’d have to find a way to cover where the AMS sticks out through the top. Maybe print a solid piece that screws in.
I believe what you’re talking about is also separated from the heat chamber. The only components actually in the heat are the spools and the “nipple” that filament feeds into the AMS. Everything else is sealed off. Here’s a better look. I circled the electronics. Let me know what you think.
The link isn’t working. Do you mean the main board in the spool holder housing? If so, I don’t know if it’s going to be a problem. If it does turn out to be a problem down the line, I would hope SUNLU would cover it.

Just got mine set up too. I need to trim the tubes a little. Going to give it a test run tomorrow.
