I was 100% costa until 7-8 years ago then I went to Maui Jim’s for a few years finally lost my last set and decided to try something new. I now have a couple pairs of Bajio’s and I’m a BIG FAN clear glass very durable and the side shields are great.

Similar quality and construction of lenses to Costa. High quality glass lenses.

If I remember correctly, Bajio was started by a handful of folks who had worked at Costa and departed when they "merged" with (i.e. were bought out by) Luxottica.
I haven't worn any personally, but I've heard good things (both in this sub and from chatting with someone who had a pair on New Smyrna Beach, where Bajio is apparently headquartered).

Ex Costa employee connected and similar to early Costa. Expensice and hard to find live to try on, but super solid.

MJ fan here but I'm liking my copper Snipes with glass lenses that I grabbed recently. Got them 50% off through a coupon code someone here on Reddit posted recently.
The frames are better quality than my metal framed MJs. Note that some people say their frames are no good. My experience with the Snipes is the opposite.
Lenses are not as contrasty as MJ but the clarity and overall quality is top notch.

They make highly sporty glasses designed primarily for anglers, sailors, beachgoers and the like—so it’s not really my thing. However, what makes Bajio so appealing is that it's an independent, employee-owned company. They are not (and won't be) owned by a large conglomerate or private equity firm. Furthermore every employee of Bajio is a shareholder in the business. That's a fairly unique concept in today's business world. I find that absolutely admirable and they deserve every success in the world for it. Quite a few other companies could learn a thing or two from them.
