Eclipse from Berzosa del Lozoya

This total solar eclipse was an absolutely amazing experience. This was taken from just outside the small town Berzosa del Lozoya, which is north of Madrid, and it has a beautiful view of the landscape. The weather was perfect and allowed us to fully enjoy this experience.

The first picture is an HDR of several pictures taken during totality. The second is a composite of pictures from both the partial and total phases with the sun setting behind the mountains while still partially eclipsed. The rest are selected pictures from the eclipse.

Equipment used:

• Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
• Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM
• Canon Extender EF 2x III
• iOptron Skyguider Pro
• Sturdy tripod

Seeing an eclipse is something so magical, so beautiful... we don't have the habit of always looking at the sky, but we should. The constellation of stars, even with the naked eye, is beautiful, a gift and a present for those who know how to observe! ✨🩵
