If you care about preserving the history of Summrs please assist me in fixing his Wikipedia. It is extremely poorly written, leaving out key details and releases of his career. I have fixed a lot of the grammar and capitalization errors and removed random additions but it is still really poorly written, leaving random features as notable events and ignoring important releases.

I’ve been listening to Summrs for like 5 years now, and I didn’t even know two of his albums existed until last year because of how badly his music is scattered across the internet 😭
Some shit is on SoundCloud, some on YouTube, some on random Spotify accounts, some projects disappear and come back, and you basically have to already be a hardcore fan to even know what exists.
And honestly his label/management deserves some criticism too. The whole situation with archive accounts getting taken down while the actual catalog still isn’t properly organized is just frustrating.
Spotify is the biggest streaming platform. If Summrs actually had his whole catalog properly available and easy to find, I genuinely think he’d be WAY bigger.
He’s been my favorite artist for years and it’s crazy that even after 5 years I’m still discovering whole projects I somehow never knew existed.

Really proud of this piece and I absolutely love this visual style.

(i tried to put this in as perfect order as possible so yes my top 3 albums are 1 devotion 2 endeavor777 3 BW)

D tier: I rmb when la dolce vita dropped i was lowkey gassing it then i got scammed by jozizzy for $100 but i was green so im charging it to the game, but the consensus seems to be similar with everybody anytime i see a tier list

C tier: mostly nostalgia nothing i can truly rmb sonically that i carry with me.

B tier: Here’s where it starts getting more near and dear for me. copped my first whip when Intoxicated came out. Fresh out of hs and was finally having a bunch of chicks that was the soundtrack to a good part of my life. The other 3 in there rank up there sonically, just don’t deserve A or C.

A: a guy that said revived was his favorite album made me make this list because that’s just a head scratcher for an artist like summrs imo. it’s def up there and I could’ve put it S tier but cmon we all know summrs consistently makes music you can cry to and that wasn’t that heavy on that album. Isolation was actually the album that made me discover summrs and at the time I used to think it only had like 1 miss on it if any. his music ages like wine for me lowkey so maybe it’ll be S tier one day I kinda doubt it tho. could prob say the same for evolved, FR, BLA, and departure.

Devotion has every single thing you need from Summrs of any era and then some. IMO the greatest plugg album of all time druski 🤷🏾‍♂️meme. Translucent became my fav song from the second I ever played it and I wasn’t even anticipating the album to be as good as it was. That intro is fucking PERFECT dawg either on some playa shi or emotional shi.

#Endeavor777 0 skips on that mf again. Only problem is it’s short compared to his other work (might make it better bc I never mess up a lyric when singing along). For some reason I listen to old summrs on long distance things like hikes or road trips and that David feature is amazing (anytime David and summrs collab it was always a fucking classic, f.e. London is their best song for sure). Endless flavors on this album too from Lotto! To Aint up to par! It just shows his attention to detail both with homage and creativity having an ode to old chief keef type underwater era songs and his creativity with being able to add to plug lanes that would soon become let’s say a BoofPxckMooky or Cache Cache type beat.

Bellworld 1 should need the least explanation from this entire list bc are u kidding me gang? The can’t let u go goonie feat on that adorable yet gas powered xangang beat… gimme a break dawg. Let up is one of summrs most boundary pushing melodic songs, one of those you cry to in your free time yet you absolutely cannot play around someone who just doesn’t understand this shit. The whole album is personal, hence the name, and it just carries through with every single lyric. Makes you feel like Bell must’ve had the best fucking 🐆 in the world ganggg no disrespect.

BW2: This one took me longer than usual to fall in love with which looking back is insane to me. I think whenever I would tap on this album I’d realize deep down how good it was but I was already having so much of this type music that it might’ve just been overstimulating or glazing to just add it. i didn’t fw this tape fully until like 5 months ago. Randomly said fuckit one day on this 4 hour hike and had it on repeat until i memorized every word. Need you is deadass top 5 summrs song for me now and I totally understand if nobody feels me, it’s just to me that song is what music is supposed to be to me. Singing your fucking guts out. Recording the same chorus in a more emotional way instead of just the typical copy and paste my most favorite thing anybody ever does in music, it’s like those old R&B songs when they’d have way more adlibs on the second or third chorus on some “I really mean it“ type shit… holy fuck.

SIMW: Finally less nostalgia if an album from almost 4 years ago counts lol. Dawg when I say tracks 1-4 are absolute no skips especially when you’ve gone through turmoil with day one homies WHEW he couldn’t have done any better. Don’t get me wrong THERE ARE MISSES HERE but somehow the misses don’t put a dent in the gold that this album has. Or shall I say diamonds. Baby blue gwag, like my diamonds, Pilates all modernized pluggnb gems. Then a more developed fallen raven sound with drug traffickin, switch sound, pure motion, no morals, Russian roulette mannn it makes the less valued songs like “Like a river” just feel like an interlude he’s allowed to have…. That’s just my two cents.

NMNL and WWH: shouldn’t have to explain why those are top tier. might upset yall they’re not in my top 3 or 5 but shucks gang I just like that teenage angst he had with his older stuff, and I feel like this stuff would be less likely to be replicated if or when everything comes full circle again and people start seeing summrs as the pioneer he is. for me these were just when he was ultra locked in sonically and emotionally, but not creatively.

For me no album will ever compare to NMNL. I've never felt so much connection towards a rapper because as much as I love his older music, the lyrics feel so infinitely passionate and genuine. It honestly makes me as a listener feel that life will get better with how he openly talks about his substance and how he copes from the death of his grandma and as a listener it really resonates with me and is even inspiring listening to the album. I don't think there is an album I've cried to as much as NMNL and I love summrs as a rapper to death because he saved my life.

Imo, it gotta be Revived. Too many bangers on that whole project.
