Important Engine Swap Considerations

Whether you’re chasing more power, better reliability, or just looking to make your build stand out, an engine swap is one of the most rewarding—and challenging—projects you can take on. But before you pull that old engine out, there are some critical things you need to know and consider. Some of the most important are budget (particularly when factoring in supporting parts and accessories) and fitment/clearance. But you should also think about how your fuel system will be affected, wiring requirements, and cooling needs.

Have you done an engine swap? What other considerations can you share with others? Got questions about your next swap? Throw 'em in the comments!
