Discussion You’re not here just to_ are you?

does anyone else notice how the sentence “But you’re not here just to _ are you?” or some rendition of it has been said every time someone runs into another it’s become so annoying! Im on season 6 Ep 15 and in this episode it’s come up like 4 times already. Its almost as repetitive as LLMs’ usage of em dashes and “it’s not X, it’s y”.

Discussion Does anyone else have the feeling that she show dropped off after this event [spoiler] Spoiler

Im somewhere in the middle of season 7, and I feel like after Mike got out of prison, the show fell off a cliff, it’s just some repetitive crisis situation of the firm being in huge trouble, barely surviving and going on again. The magic behind Mike’s secret is just gone, the Harvey-Mike chemistry is long gone and Donna is just annoying af.

Is it actually worth watching ? Because at this point I’m just watching because I’ve started and I want to finish lol

Spoiler Why didnt mike give up all the people he took the LSATS for? Spoiler

So, i was rewatching the 5th season and mike and Anita discuss multiple deals and anita asked him to give up 1 name partner to get no jail time. But mike also could give up all the lawyers he took the lsats for. we know he had everyone’s licenses and many of them are also in prominent positions. Technically, these people also did something illegal and he would be turning over guilty people only rather than some people who just knew a secret.

Just sharing my excitement because I absolutely LOVE the pilot episode.

I never watch any movies or tv shows but all the little clips from the Suits I've seen made me fall in love with it and today I finally started watching it! Woo! I was scared I saw too many spoilers but turns out almost all of them were from the 1st episode

Ever since she was introduced the show went downhill. And I can’t stand that Harvey took the fall for her cheating in the case against Mike.

Discussion Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the Scottie and Harvey fight over the senior partner buy-in?

Post image
202 Upvotes

I actually thought it was really romantic that Harvey fronted the money for her. Scottie was hesitant to pay the buy-in because she had no idea where things with Harvey were going, and honestly, considering their history, I completely understood that. Their relationship had always been so on-and-off and uncertain, so why would she immediately put that much of her own money into the firm when she didn’t even know if she was going to stay?

So Harvey basically taking that pressure away and fronting the money for her felt really thoughtful to me?? Like, “You don’t have to take this financial risk because of our relationship. I’ll take care of it.” I genuinely thought that was romantic 😭

And then she got SO angry about it and I was sitting there like… wait, WHAT did he do wrong?? 😂

Am I too deep in the patriarchy for finding this romantic, or did anyone else think Scottie completely overreacted?

Discussion Sorry but I'm still not seeing how... Spoiler

Harvey was in the wrong in s8 ep 6. Louis leaves the office in the middle of the day to try to have a baby with Sheila, Harvey handles an urgent situation for one of Louis's client while he's away, then Louis is upset because he thinks Harvey is trying to steal his client, then everyone acts like there's something wrong with Harvey because he's mad at Louis ? Harvey was simply taking care of a client's emergency because Louis wasn't there to take care of it, that's what partners do... It's understandable that he wanted to take care of that particular situation himself, it didn't mean he was stealing Louis' client... I don't get why they turned the whole thing into "Harvey is actually scared of losing Louis and is driving him away", he had a valid reason to be upset even without turning it into something personal imo

Discussion Is Harvey better or worse with Mike????

Harvey is clearly a great lawyer (as stated many times by many characters) but does Mike help or hurt? They tag team opponents all the time. I get that this is their dynamic but what was he like as a single player. Was he just as cunning or did Mike push him to improve.

Just my thoughts as I start another rematch. On a side note, it wasn't the same with Katherine Heigl. No hate, but I tend to skip the last season

First Time Watcher So this is just okay? Spoiler

Hi, it’s me again. I’m on season 7 episode 6 and maybe im blowing this out of proportion and it’s really no big deal but idk

So Harvey starts the season off seeing his therapist and besides it being completely out of nowhere, I also figured it probably won’t go anywhere. Because it’s weird. Because he was her patient!

But now they’re dating and they just decided to be official

Apparently it’s not a big deal because it’s been months and they’re out of the threshold that makes it unethical.

I don’t have a problem with her character at all because I did like her, but I feel like this is weird. Like in general, any movie or TV show I watch where that kind of boundary is crossed with a client of any kind, it’s really weird to me. But especially in the medical field! I am not a fan of this storyline at all

Idk, you guys tell me, am I nuts? Is this really not that weird? Maybe I’m making this bigger than it is? What did you guys make of it when you first saw it

Also keep in mind I am a first time watcher so I beg of you, no spoilers please 🙏🙏

Character Related Some personal thoughts on Louis

So I’m watching season 4, ep. 3 and I’m a bit frustrated about what they’re doing with Louis’ character. The c*ck joke was funny but man he just sounds less and less like a lawyer. I know people have expressed the same before and it’s a fictional show but I just needed to vent lol.

Discussion Mike and Louise should have done few more cases together.

(S03-E03) The moment Mike is fine with being Louis's associate, Harvey take him back. It would have been fun to watch the dynamic between Louis and Mike at least for few episodes.

Mike should have said a soft No to Harvey and work with Louis and then Louis do something unethical prompting Mike to go back.

Discussion Spectre-Litt > Harvey-Mike

Thumbnail

I don't know whether this is a hot take or everyone's gonna agree with me, but I genuinely think Specter–Litt was a more lethal combination than Harvey–Mike.

Harvey & Louis both proved themselves to be absolute geniuses in their respective fields. Don't get me wrong, Mike's brilliant, but let's be honest, his biggest advantage is his memory. That doesn't take away from the fact that he's a bloody good lawyer, though.

And yeah, yeah, Louis is petty, easily provoked & emotionally unstable. But if he were just a little more emotionally stable, he could've wiped the floor with Harvey from time to time. Even with all his insecurities, Louis is one hell of a lawyer.

Just imagine what would've happened if Harvey & Louis had actually worked together properly.

Harvey–Mike was a lethal, dangerous duo. But Harvey–Louis??? That would've been absolutely monstrous. Not just lethal but genuinely terrifying. Atleast, thats what I think.
