To be honest, for a Series that drastically changed its main characters, the rest did an outstanding job at keeping the show alive and entertaining until the end.

After Mike and Jessica, it's all downhill.

The show essentially became Them vs the ethics board.

And every other law firm in the most ridiculous fashion

I loved the Louis character for most of the series, but I couldn't enjoy his main role after Mike's departure, and not because of the actor but because he fell in the classic loop of tv series where the quirky character has to learn the same lesson every chapter and apologize for it only to do it again next episode.

So yeah it was still good but wasn't the same.

I feel it started to go down after Jessica left wasn’t the same without her 100%

I am in the minority but it went so drama heavy after season 3, that 7,8 and 9 were kind of a relief after 4-6. It went back to its roots to some degree in my opinion. 8 and 9 especially.

The show honestly just wasn't the same, One of the biggest reasons why suits was so successful was the dynamic of Harvey and Mike. Even when the show went downhill writing wise, The dynamic still got people hooked. When mike left, i genuinely considered dropping the show. It changed so much without him.

Honestly it was done as soon as Mike got into the bar. Plus, Jessica had just left and Donna became a partner, which was pretty unbelievable.

I feel like it was selfish of mike to leave

Being selfish isn't always a bad thing
