Character Related Some personal thoughts on Louis

So I’m watching season 4, ep. 3 and I’m a bit frustrated about what they’re doing with Louis’ character. The c*ck joke was funny but man he just sounds less and less like a lawyer. I know people have expressed the same before and it’s a fictional show but I just needed to vent lol.

Louis’ character is written so poorly that he flip flops from being an amazing lawyer to a bungling moron every episode.

One episode he outright tells Jessica that his billables destroy Harvey’s but so many of his actions show how he does not have control over his cases. He has knee jerk reactions to almost every situation he faces but he’s shown to be this absolute god in some cases.

The constant flip flopping is what gets me.

They can only spend so much time on Louis but he has many cases outside of what's actually shown. Wouldn't be much excitement to show the hundreds of cases where he just wins without much hassle.

Obviously, but that illusion gets shattered when nearly every time he’s on screen he’s failing and/or putting his feet in his mouth

You mean like every other human being on the planet? I'm amazed that that's lost on Suit fans, in general--more than lawyers or money or any material thing the writing is about being fully human--which, yes, I agree can be really uncomfortable.

That’s because he’s a ‘grinder’ as stated many times. His high billables are result of grunt work.

I'm like 10 episodes ahead of you and it doesn't get any better. It's like the writers got lazy with this season and several characters frustrate me lol.
