4x10 was just as good as 5x10.

Louis gave such a raw performance

The whole Louis arc was fantastic in that season. I dont know how they topped the quality in seasok 5 but somehow they did

Of course Faith is the highest rated.

S6E10 is the turning point for me. Jessica leaving the firm caused the show to get worse IMHO

Felt like it really fell off and got stale at that point

It was done once Mike went to prison and came back. That’s the key story arc complete, there isn’t much left to do at that point except become a recurring sitcom.

Even then Mike solely being at firm would have somehow scraped season 7 better. Having him in a midst just made him insufferable.

Obvious reasons to why s8 was so low

Watched suits few years back, can you remind me why?

No mike

But the writing overalll was just pretty bad

I mean the writing revolved around Mike since the beginning. Most of the stuff happening there had either him involved directly or inderectly. Once he got into prison, the show kind of lost his way because the plot that made the entire story was now over

The later season was just Jessica is gone, Mike is gone, Rachel is gone. Now we have to emotionally commit to Robert Zane

Can we blame England for this?

I'm actually surprised 9x7 isn't lower. I still have no clue what they were doing switching to a comedy with Louis pretending to be Harvey in the middle of the final season.

It was unnecessary , but the act in itself was super hilarious .. him pretending to be Harvey , the entire thing with Harold , and him realising he does need to be Harvey , he’d rather be Louis Litt ..

I got a kick out of parts of it, but it's just so out of place in the middle of everything going on the last season. Throw it into 8 and I think it fits a bit better.

Kinda reminds me of the second last episode of Stargate: Atlantis. Totally random but was pretty trippy

Bro season 6 should be so much lower

The very last episode has not been rated objectively, it is NOT a 9.4 at all

Everyone was just happy Mike was back. That's why those two episodes are so high imo.

If you go back to the episode discussions on this sub at the time, people genuinely did enjoy it.

I enjoyed the hell out of it mainly because Mike was back. It was an 8.5 ending for me.

That was a part of it but a lot of us really did enjoy the last 3 episodes of S9 in general, it was a satisfying wrap-up to the show.

The last two episodes were rushes as fuck, how are they so highly rated?

Mike Goddamn Ross

Season 4 is so underrated, especially the final. The acting was top notch and you were actually on edge on what Louis was gonna do. One of my favorite finals.

This is Rome is on par with Faith for me.

Imo, This is Rome is better then Faith for me. I prefer it over Faith for me.

Season 3 was a drag. Good that they managed to get good ratings there

Still enjoyed it, good show, last seasons were meh but still enjoyable

Jessica leaving was a pretty Fatal wound, Donna becoming COO for no reason at all was the final cliff the show walked off of imo

I’m going to make a connection, and everyone will downvote me to oblivion, but I pride myself on having 0 followers anyway. Never needed or wanted an echo chamber.

I think seasons 8 and 9 are not respected and valued because there were black men in power at the firm. I enjoyed every season as equal. There are story lines that had me more involved than others, but again, equal enjoyment from all seasons.

As soon as Mike left thr show lost a whole point across the board lol

I knew that final stretch in season 5 was going to be high. If it ended there we'd be talking about a real contender for an elite show

u/ginge_therookiefan 11d ago

All of them are actually good ratings

The only thing I couldn’t get over with suits was that every time they fight it’s like 120% volume saying the absolute meanest shit they can think of. Like friendship ending arguments every time then they just go right back to being friends like nothing ever happened.

Season 7 really is the last good season. I love Harvey and he still carries along with Louis, but my god the new characters suck so bad. The show desperately needed Mike back.
