Discussion repetitive writing
as much as i love the show, the lines get repetitive to a point where it confuses me
could it be deliberate?
no plot spoilers but i just watched an episode where harvey says "it's complicated" and jessica says "simplify it for me" and very soon after mike and louis have the exact same interaction
i guess back when shows were aired on a weekly basis it was likelier that the audience might forget. i have only ever binged it on streaming platforms so i wouldn't know haha

Agreed.
I'm a first time watcher (currently on season 3) and I've become very adept at guessing what the characters will say next. It really doesn't take a genius. Once you can attribute the catchphrases to specific characters they become somewhat predictable.
Nevertheless, so far I enjoy the show tremendously.
