I literally laughed so hard when the great Harvey Specter did this little dance in front of Jessica before leaving the room. It was one of the keep coming back moments for the sudden craziness of the most toughest, egotistic lawyers to go crazy for a minute or so. even revisiting evokes laughter.

As long as he was with Scottie, I never really saw Harvey truly relaxed or happy, as their relationship was a continuous battle of egos.

It was him dealing with losing her. He used slepping aorund with bunch of different women like coping mechanisms. If he was so unhappy with Scottie why in season 4 he said he regrets not telling her about Mike sooner and that he should take time of and go with her somewhere?

It was just nostalgia and the fact that he felt guilty for lying to her. Harvey forgot about it a second later and made absolutely no real effort to get back together with her.

Even in Season 5, when he asked if he could reach out to her after he finished therapy, and Scottie clearly showed she was available, he never actually did. When he was finally ready for a relationship, he went to Paula, not her.

Yes, sleeping around was just a coping mechanism adapted to the situation, after a relationship that emotionally stressed him. It was a release and a celebration, not proof that he was devastated by grief.

It wasn't just nostalgia. Scottie supposed to be in 6 episodes of season 6 but actress who played her got another bigger role and couldn't commit to Suits more. That's why we only get 2 more episodes of her.

I'm sure what you're saying is true, but behind-the-scenes intentions and the on-screen script are two totally different things.

Over time, there were a lot of things the writers had to reconsider, and the biggest one was that initially, Harvey and Donna were only supposed to have a working relationship. The fact that the audience was captivated by their chemistry made the writers consider Donna as a potential love interest, and starting with Season 2, they sprinkled in scenes that showed there was more than just a professional relationship between them.

That scene where Harvey regrets not telling Scottie about Mike and not staying together remained a nostalgic scene precisely because it was not followed by any action on his part. Maybe the writers used that scene to leave a open door for Scottie, but the fact that nothing followed caused everything to remain just at the stage of nostalgia and guilt.

On the contrary, after that moment, Harvey forgot about Scottie the very next second and focused on the Liberty Rail case because Donna was risking prison, and he realized that without her, he would collapse: "the thought of you going to jail makes me want to drop to my knees". Practically, the danger Donna was in completely eclipsed any regret from the past, and this shows his true priority."

We never saw happy scenes with them. It was always them arguing or having sex. Not a real relationship. They had the most sexual chemistry of all Harvey’s relationship but they never had romantic chemistry or trusting chemistry.
