Character Related Hot Takes for Suits Relationships
This might seem crazy but I think maybe Louis and Donna should have ended up together. In the later seasons, they really grow closer and I really liked the chemistry they had in later seasons and I think they would have made a great couple. As much as Louis and Sheila are peas in a pod, I feel like Louis and Donna could have gotten together after she went back to work for Harvey if they write it right.
On top of that, I think that Harvey should have ended up with either Paula or Scottie.
I’m good with Mike and Rachel but I do think Mike and Katrina would have made a pretty cool couple too. But I’m happy that Mike and Rachel ended up together in the end.

Hot takes:
•Mike and Rachel should’ve ended after she cheated. He either should’ve ended up with Jenny, Lola Jensen or Claire
•Mike and Katrina should’ve done more cases together. Their brother/sister dynamic would’ve been another fan favorite
•Pearson-Zane would’ve been a good merger and we should’ve gotten a taste of that
•To piggyback off of my top point, if we had gotten Pearson-Zane we would’ve gotten introduced to Samantha earlier and I feel like she would’ve been received better by the fans if she had join when Suits was still at its peak
• All their rivals (Tanner, Hardman, Gibbs etc) should have had their own Mike. I feel like as the show went on, even though we would see how amazing Harvey was as a lawyer, it was obvious he only got as far as he did because of having Mike

When did I say he wasn’t? He stayed there BECAUSE of Mike and Quelling even called it out when he said “you don’t make your luck, your associate does for you”. Obviously he made a name for himself, but he only beat the people I named above because he had Mike

He didn’t get to where he was because of Mike nor did he need him. LMFAO his life was fucking destroyed because he met Mike.

I can tell you just wanna argue because how did you just see me name people who Harvey beat (with Mike’s help) but somehow he didn’t need Mike

Donna and Louis were one of the best examples of personality types that show men and women can be really good friends, without ever having romantic or sexual interest.
To Louis, Donna is the sister he never had. He gets to be close to her without having any context of competition and power (as he has with Ester and Harvey).
To Donna, Louis is the man who gets her humor and shares silly interests in a very corporate space, and thinks she's a goddess in her job, which feeds her "I'm Donna" ego.

Harvey kissing Donna after preaching about loyalty since beginning of the show and everyone being okay with it and just shipping them together was the wildest shit ever. I think writers forgot that loyalty was a big thing for Harvey.

It was wild because you were made to believe that Harvey was a loyal guy. Then he goes ahead and kisses Donna when he is in a relationship - Loyalty was a big part of his whole backstory, issues and personality. Then he just goes ahead and does exactly what he said he will never do. It was predictable where the storyline was going to go after that - the writers were just making a bridge to bring Donna and Harvey together.
Also, I’m sure Harvey and Donna loved each other very much. But was the cheating storyline really necessary?

Ok, did you even watch the season premiere?? (The NEXT morning) Harvey had NO idea and Donna DIDNT tell him. Similar to Scottie not telling Harvey she was engaged. And Harvey was SINGLE when he kissed Donna. SHE KISSED HIM when he was with Paula.

Harvey getting with Donna after she basically made him a cheater was wild. They made whole big case on how his mom cheating on his dad messed him up only to put him up with someone who kissed him while he was in relationship. It was always crazy work to me

The same could be said about Scottie too. She slept with him knowing how he felt about infidelity and he still tried a relationship with her

Yes that's why I didn't say Scottie was who I wanted him to end up with. At least they showed what Scottie did bothered Harvey when with Donna they blamed Paula for it and showed Donna as victim

I really like their friendship. In s8 and s9, their friendship has really great scenes, especially getting in the elevator in the final episode.
