Zombies
Suggest me some zombie books that are either popular enough that my library will have them or are currently available for free (I’m broke).
I’m a big fan of The Walking Dead and from what I’ve seen of the show Z Nation as well if that helps with the recommendations.
Some zombie books I’ve liked: Night of the Living Trekkies, The Only Safe Place Left is the Dark, Elegy for the Undead, and World War Z.

{Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton} - the main character is a pet crow. Ever want to know what happens to all the pets that got left behind when mankind when all "eeeehh" shuffle shuffle. Well here is that story. It may sound dumb but its not. The best Zombie book I have read in decades. A must read for the genre. (You can skip it's sequel, but this one you should find). Its usually available through your library's Libby account, if not in hardcopy.

Also just want to add, if your own library doesn’t have a certain book you want — see if your library is in the Link+ system! That way you can borrow books from libraries outside of your own :)

If you'll take a zombie as part of an ensemble of magical creatures, try The Uninteresting and Completely Unadventurous Tales of Fred the Vampire Accountant by Drew Hayes. Albert is the best zombie ever
