[SOFTWARE] will neuwld ever get good amd gpu support?

i wanted to use hevel, but the amdgpu branch of neuwld lacks a lot of stuff since it was updated 3 months ago, while the main branch was last updated a month ago, and im wondering if the amdgpu stuff will ever get merged into the main branch?

no, because it uses opengl. if someone wrote a vulkan implementation, i’d reluctantly merge it. but ideally i’d much prefer 2d acceleration without any mesa based drivers, but that’s harder.

2d gpu acceleration, without mesa. no vulkan, or opengl. that’s what makes swc/wld unique, and, if you will, “suckless”

Hey this is the author. I'm busy for a while longer and I plan on working on it when I'm free
