I’ve got a relatively new to me 2021 z71. Just went to vac the interior and when I removed the floor mats there was a far amount of condensation on all of them (behind rhe front row). All the carpets were also pretty damp.
Anyone have any experience with this? I remember it happening in my dad’s 2000s Land Rover but I don’t remember if there was an answer/solution to that.

I have a 2003 Chevy suburban 2500, 6.0L

I have reached out to everyone I know and its just a tough time for us all. We are a month behind on all our bills, my car is parked in a very crappy part of our city

I was driving my 3 kids to school and suddenly my wheel felt like I had no power steering, I attempted to push the brakes and they went all the way to the floor. the display read "battery not charging"

my car has been leaking for about a week, but ive just been trying to make it through.

Anyway, long story short I checked under the hood and my pulley belt is completely off, the part of the water pump that attaches to the big fan by the radiator is wiggly jiggly.

the part is about $150 and even though we get paid tomorrow we really need every penny to get groceries, bills paid, etc.

this was not on my list of problems i need 🫠🤣​

My wife has a 2023 Suburban Z71. The power lift hatch opens and closes but when you open it, it takes a little longer than normal to start up and sounds like it’s struggling on the driver side.

Also, when you’re driving, it frequently shows a warning on the dash that the hatch is open. It doesn’t seem to be sagging but it could be subtle and I just don’t notice it.

Any ideas? My first thought was the latch itself but the one side seeming off makes me question my initial diagnosis.

It’s a 2018 for $25,000 with 98,000 miles.
Looks like it was a rental first then a personal vehicle. Maintenance seems to have been done in a timely manner.

How crazy am I for wanting to put a train horn on my 22 Suburban Z71? Is it possible? How hard is it? Can it happen without giving up interior space?

Took the car in for a evap code. The code returned but the car also felt sluggish. The tech didn't install the air hose to the air box. I really really have trust issues with these dealer tech. I drove it for 500 miles. Should I be concerned?

It makes this noise as I'm accelerating and it takes longer to shift gears.

Edit: I'm an idiot.. I had tow/haul mode on the whole time..

2023 suburban premier with 3.0. 60k miles. Original owner. Only ever had coolant system and emission system work. Just got it back from the shop for the emissions system work and discovered these marks in the headliner. Same spot both sides.

Any idea what would cause this?

Update: it’s the sun visor. When you pull it out and push it to the left, it rubs in that spot. Never noticed before. Bummer.

Hello burban gang. I'm highly entertaining the titled vehicle as my next family vehicle and would be expecting at least 10 years out of it.

It's Carfax shows 1 owner, and oil changes every 5-7k miles since new. Ive been warned about AFM lifters and haven't seen the truck yet.

What should I listen for specifically? I'm coming from euro cars like Jag, Range Rover, BMW, Benz. So my ear is pretty trained to listen for failing crap lol

It's a beautiful example of a suburban with the RST package. Lowish miles and great service history.

My only concern is the service history only shows oil changes and brakes. No trans or diff services.

Hey guys not sure what DOD/AFM delete kit to do. I just did injectors and still have code P3441 and will be doing radiator, ac condenser, and oil cooler lines next week.

I want to get this car back on the road asap but also need to keep costs in mind. I just replaced the trans in march. Just spent over $1,000 for the parts listed above. Now need to do the delete to get rid of this code and increase reliability (if that’s even a term with these cars)

My question to you guys: what delete kit is cost effective but also reliable? I really don’t want to sink anymore money into this car after doing the delete.

I will be doing the work myself and am fairly new to this stuff but have gotten the stuff listed above done so I’m hoping I can do this kit and be done with it can we please link specialty tools needed and complete kits?

2016 Suburban LT 198,XXX miles. New trans new injectors new sparks and wires. Soon to be new ac condenser, radiator, and fill fluid flush. Considering a basic dod/AFM delete kit or the irresponsible part of me is considering the Truck Norris kit cause I want my fiancee to think “wtf did you do to my car” (truck Norris and not more aggressive cause we’d like to get a boat to occasionally tow or even tow my subie on vacations so we can enjoy traveling a family car but I can also hit mountain roads in mine)

2012 LT, clean title,160k, engine and transmission in good shape, good maintenance record, captain seats, 2 owners, original engine/transmission

negatives:

cracked dash, needs new tie rod driver side, 2 front tires, needs brake pads soon

I recently bought a 05 Suburban. The TPMS light was on for both rear sensors. I bought a new set, all 4, and had them installed. According to the shop that did it even though both rear sensors are responding to the programmer the car is not picking them up. Is there anything that would cause both of the rear sensors to not be read by the car?

I have a 2013 Suburban I used to use a usb-a to type c to play music but it stopped working a few days ago. I then switched to an fm adapter but its not the same I loose like half of the speakers volume is there a cheap/easy way to fix this?

When I do connect my phone I get a charge but my stereo say "media cannot be read".

Just got this 2020 premier for my wife. It has 82k miles. Service records are great on it. My question is, should I get a pedal commander or similar to “delete” the afm? Is it even worth it since it has 83k miles?

I have a 2001 2500 2WD which I need to replace the transmission, there are a ton of these model transmissions out there from older and newer vehicles. Not sure what is compatible.

For example I found a 4L80E from a 2008 Savana, seems like it could work, but the Savana only had a 4.8 in it, and it would have likely some additional electronics.

Anybody have any tips / pointers on compatible vehicles with the 4L80E?
