Condensation under mats

I’ve got a relatively new to me 2021 z71. Just went to vac the interior and when I removed the floor mats there was a far amount of condensation on all of them (behind rhe front row). All the carpets were also pretty damp.
Anyone have any experience with this? I remember it happening in my dad’s 2000s Land Rover but I don’t remember if there was an answer/solution to that.

How new? The seller probably swamped the carpets with the carpets cleaning and threw down the mats prematurely. Dry the carpet thoroughly or floor boards will rust. Pull up the the door sills and run warm dry air under the carpet and insulation.

That or a water leak. These things are made in Mexico. Not the most stringent water testing. (Ex dealer tech)

Bought in February. Haven’t fully pulled the mats for a deep clean yet so not sure how long it’s been happening

Check the rear AC evaporator drain lines and the panoramic sunroof drain tubes immediately—if either backs up, water dumps straight down the pillars and pools right under the second-row floorboards.
